| Bats Win at Indianapolis, 7-5 | The Austin Bats stopped the Indianapolis Indians, 7-5, at Victory Field. The Bats got a big game from Buddy Reed, who was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Wade Davis, credited with the save, is now 14 for 14 in save opportunities. With the win over Indianapolis, the Bats improved to 34-29.
In the top of the fifth inning, left fielder Tyler Collins came through big-time for the Bats. With Austin leading 4-2, he belted a 3-run home run.
