Indians Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rough Riders | The Indianapolis Indians trumped the San Juan Rough Riders, 5-4, at Ballpark of Kansas City. Indianapolis third baseman Nolan Arenado was named player of the game for his performance. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The win was Mario Hollands's in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Josh D. Fields took the loss for San Juan. The win puts the Indians at 31-33, while the Rough Riders drop to 28-38.
Travis Shaw made it 5-4 in favor of Indianapolis when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the 11th. The Indians went on to win.
