| Bats Come Up Short at Manitoba | The Manitoba Moose did just enough to sneak past the Austin Bats, 3-2, at Great Outdoors Ballpark. Manitoba pitcher Adam Conley earned player of the game honors. Conley picked up the win for Manitoba, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 8-5. Trevor Rosenthal finished to wrap up his 18th save.
Devon Travis, who is tied for 7th in the WL in triples with 3, helped out the Manitoba cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.
Conley called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
