| Gators Stymie Indianapolis, Take 4-1 Win | Florida starter Michael Fulmer pitched effectively against the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Earning his 7th save for Florida was Dellin Betances. The Gators, at 30-43, sit in second place in the Eastern League South East Divison.
Jon Jay aided the Florida cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the third. For the game, the center fielder went 1-2 with 2 walks.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Fulmer.
