| Seawolves Drop Another One | Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Abraham Almonte, the Connecticut Choppers defeated the Erie Seawolves, 8-3. Almonte went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Choppers. Mike Leake closed it out for his 2nd save. Erie has now lost 5 in a row.
Rougned Odor didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 3-run home run to put Connecticut on top, 3-0.
