| Des Moines Comes up Empty Against Lamb | John Lamb of the New York Desperados humiliated the Des Moines Rebels at Ballpark of New York today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 1 hit.
"He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said Des Moines manager Cesar Velazquez, after the game.
Lamb whiffed 11 and walked 0 in the 3-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Lamb said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
