When the games really matter, the Erie Seawolves put on their best show, beating the Las Vegas Coyotes by a final score of 3-2 today. Matt Wieters earned player of the game honors, as he slugged 2 home runs. Erie now leads Las Vegas 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Stephen Piscotty was the walk-off hero for Erie. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Seawolves right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Erie manager Terry Francona.

Game 4 is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at Jerry Uht Park. Slated to start are Matt Harvey for Las Vegas and Aaron Nola for Erie.
