| Balta Delivers Walk-Off Win for Seawolves | In a low-scoring clash between Erie and Richmond, pitcher Stephen Strasburg was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Erie in the 3-2 win. Erie is now 48-49, while Richmond is 37-59.
A.J. Balta was the walk-off hero for Erie. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Seawolves pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Richmond skipper Scott Entsminger.
