Donaldson came through with some timely hitting for Mississippi. With the score 3-0 in the bottom of the first and one down, Donaldson hit a first pitch sinker for a 2-run single. His 103rd hit of the season made it 3-2, Mississippi.
"It was a good effort all around," said Donaldson.
