| Freedom Win Again, Extend Streak to 10 | Francisco Lindor left his imprint on the 6-1 Mississippi win against the Indianapolis Indians. Lindor, who is tied for 3rd in the WL with a .317 batting average, was 3 for 3 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Kevin Gausman, credited with the win, is now 9-8. He allowed 1 run on 8 hits in 7.1 innings. The winning streak has now reached 10 games for Mississippi.
In the top of the seventh, Ketel Marte stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Indians were trailing 5-0, but had the bases loaded. That's when Kevin Gausman made a terrific pitch and Marte grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Indianapolis comeback.
