| Bullet Club Raise Rally Flag, Beat Erie, 4-2 | The Richmond Bullet Club defeated the Erie Seawolves, 4-2, in Eastern League action at Ballpark of Bullet Club, with Richmond third baseman Yangervis Solarte named player of the game. Richmond reliever Arodys Vizcaino picked up the win to move to 4-2. Pedro Strop suffered the loss. Aroldis Chapman earned his 16th save in 17 tries.
Solarte had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Bullet Club went on to win.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Erie skipper Terry Francona, "and it cost us."
Richmond now owns a record of 34-32.
