Brantley Slugs Seawolves to 15-4 Win | The Erie Seawolves cruised to a 15-4 win over the Raleigh Renegades at Jerry Uht Park today. Michael Brantley led the way, going 4-for-5 for Erie. Stephen Strasburg picked up the win, improving his season record to 9-10. He struck out 6 in 6 innings. The Renegades, at 40-75, have lost 7 straight games.
Maikel Franco, who leads the EL in RBI with 90, aided the Erie cause with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once.
