| Pride Jolt Rough Riders with Late Rally | The game between Nashua and San Juan is in the books, despite a little rain.
In a tight contest at Ballpark of New Team, the Nashua Pride edged the San Juan Rough Riders by the score of 6-5. Nashua pinch hitter Wilfredo Rodriguez, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The Pride sit in third place in the Western League North West Divison with a record of 75-72.
Rodriguez contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Nashua in the bottom of the eighth. With his team trailing 5-3, Rodriguez took a fastball from Sean Doolittle and stroked the home run to left. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Pride to leap in front, 6-5.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Rodriguez told the Nashua Gazette.
