| Coyotes Get Road Win, 6-3 | The Las Vegas Coyotes beat the Indianapolis Indians, 6-3, at Victory Field. The Coyotes got a fine performance from catcher Brett Nicholas, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Sergio Romo, credited with the save, is now 7 for 11 in save opportunities. With the victory, the Coyotes record now stands at 63-58.
With a runner on 1st and two out in the top of the third inning, left fielder Michael Conforto delivered big for the Coyotes. Las Vegas was trailing 3-1 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Nicholas told the Las Vegas Today.
