| Cano, Pride Beat Rough Riders, 8-1 | Riding the 3-hit performance of the 34-year old second baseman Robinson Cano, the Nashua Pride stopped the San Juan Rough Riders, 8-1. Lance Lynn closed the door for Nashua, picking up his 1st save of the year. With the win, Nashua pushes its record to 9-17.
Cano came through with some timely hitting for Nashua. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the first and no one down, Cano hit a 2-2 slider for a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season made it 2-0, Nashua.
Said losing manager Don Dinsmore: "Give the Pride credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
