5-for-5 Day for Lucroy
Tuesday, July 9th, 2019
The Nashua Pride stopped the Austin Bats by a score of 6-0 at Ballpark of New Team today, with the lion's share of the credit going to catcher Jonathan Lucroy. The 33-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Lucroy said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Lucroy did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Bats.

"Not much that I can say," offered Austin manager Trey Bats. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Jonathan Lucroy singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jon Gray in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.

On the year Lucroy is hitting .313 with 96 hits, 9 home runs, 43 RBIs, .369 OBP and has scored 42 runs.
