The Fairview MuckDogs second baseman tore up the Raleigh Renegades to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Stars Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from Dozier powered the MuckDogs to a 7-3 win. "Dozier was a tough out today," Raleigh manager Scott Patterson said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Brian Dozier hit a two-run home run off Enny Romero in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
