 | 5-Hit Blitz by La Stella Friday, July 12th, 2019 It was nearly a perfect day for Tommy La Stella at Winkers Ballpark. Although the Itta Bena Pheasants second baseman was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 5 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the Pheasants from falling to the Cloverly Winkers. Cloverly spoiled his great day at the plate by taking a 6-3 win. Tommy La Stella singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This season La Stella is swinging the bat at a .288 rate with 57 hits in 198 at-bats. To date he has hit 2 home runs, scored 32 runs and driven in 23. |   |
