The Cloverly shortstop had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Leander Running Rebels, leading his club to victory, 23-9. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Escobar said later." Eduardo Escobar hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Dian Toscano in the 5th and hit an RBI double in the 6th. To date, Escobar has collected 90 hits for a .275 average. He has posted 9 home runs, scored 38 runs and driven in 53 runs. |   |
