 | Winkers Chill Tucker's Hot Streak Friday, August 23rd, 2019 The Rowland Heights Atomics lost to the Cloverly Winkers 10-2 today at Ballpark of Rowland Heights, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Preston Tucker's 26-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Tucker, we would win the game," the Winkers manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." For the season Tucker has hit .340 with 28 home runs and 90 RBIs. He has played in 111 games and scored 80 times. |   |
