 | Ugly Incident Ends in 3-Game Suspension Thursday, September 5th, 2019 Misfits first baseman Ryan Zimmerman was incensed after being suspended for 3 games by the commissioner's office following a heated argument the day before in the Buckingham-Rowland Heights game at Misfits Ballpark. He was thrown out of the game for arguing a strike call. The league office cited Zimmerman for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," which included throwing his hat at the umpire several times. This season Zimmerman is hitting at a .273 pace with 12 home runs, 42 RBIs and has scored 39 times. |   |
