 | Bean Stops Irving Cold Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 Irving dropped a 8-0 shutout to Parker Bean and the Ft. Wayne Sky Sox at Marvels Ballpark today. The Marvels offered little resistance to Bean, who stopped them on 1 hit, fanned 7 and walked 1. "It just felt right today," the right-handed Bean told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." Bean has made 23 starts so far this year and put up a 10-7 won-lost record with a 3.96 ERA. In 141 innings he has allowed 136 hits, walked 46 and struck out 139. |   |
