 | Stratham Reliever Elbows His Way to SL1 Award Monday, October 14th, 2019 Most of the time the starting pitchers get the glory, but not this year. A Stratham reliever, Josh Smoker, has been voted the 2019 Pitcher of the Year Award in the Sub League 1. The Red Flash ace appeared in 25 games and saved 0 of them. He had a 10-4 record with a 2.19 ERA. Smoker registered 204 strikeouts in 135.1 innings and limited opposing hitters to a .174 batting average. Kevin Siegrist of the Rowland Heights Atomics finished second in voting, while Luis D. Perdomo of the Itta Bena Pheasants finished third. |   |
