The 24-year-old center fielder put up a .267 average and a .346 on-base percentage, piling up 75 hits, 14 doubles, no triples, 13 home runs, 51 RBIs and 54 runs scored.
Kaleb Craft of the Lake County Captains finished second in voting, while Yendrys Gonzalez of the Watertown Annihilators finished third. | | Sub League 1 Names Williams Best Player Monday, October 7th, 2019 The manager of the Bald Knob Blue Jays said he thinks Justin Williams is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the left fielder's 2019 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 1 Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .285 batting average and a .381 on-base percentage this year. In 76 games he piled up 83 hits, 9 doubles, 2 triples, 22 home runs, 58 RBIs and 54 runs scored.
Austin Hoffman of the Vancouver Canadians finished second in voting, while Steve Spang of the Connecticut Tigers finished third. | | |
