 | Sub League 2 Announces #1 Player Monday, July 24th, 2017 19-year-old Luis Curbelo made a few Lyons headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Sub League 2 officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .462 average. Curbelo collected 1 home run, 7 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Curbelo is hitting .250 in 2017 with 17 RBIs and 2 home runs. |   |
