Greene Fires Shutout in Newport News Victory
|
Shane Greene really had his stuff working at Magic Ballpark today. The Newport News Tornado hurler mystified the Los Angeles Magic and shut them out 5-0. Greene allowed a total of 5 hits in the ballgame and struck out 5.
"The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Greene said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose."
In the current season in 10 starts, Shane Greene has a record of 5-3 with 48 strikeouts in 66 innings and a 3.55 ERA.
