League Gives Bruguera and Van Scoyoc 4-Game Suspensions Friday, September 4th, 2020 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Louisville-Brooklyn contest at Snappers Ballpark. The Snappers Rey Bruguera and the Cougars Spencer Van Scoyoc will have to sit out 4 games for their part in the brawl. Looking at his stats this year, Bruguera has compiled a .311 batting average, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 20 runs. He has played in 48 games and scored 14 runs. In 23 starts this year Van Scoyoc has recorded a 9-6 record and a 3.60 ERA. |
