Newport News Devastated by Playoff Elimination Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 Jon Lorenzo said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Newport News Tornado after they missed the Freedom Baseball League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Newport News hasn't yet made it to the postseason. They haven't made the playoffs in all 4 years of their history. |
