Akron Loses Heasley for Season Friday, September 4th, 2020 Jonathan Heasley had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Akron medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Akron starting pitcher suffered a stretched elbow ligament in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. So far this season Heasley has a 0-1 record, 3 starts, 23.1 innings, 22 strikeouts and a 4.24 ERA. |
