Wheat Kings Win Division 1 Crown Thursday, September 17th, 2020 The Raleigh Wheat Kings kicked off what they hope is the first of many celebrations tonight, after having clinched the Division 1. Championship success is uncharted waters for the Wheat Kings, as the club has yet to win a World Series. "We know what it takes, we just have to put ourselves in that position to win it," said starting pitcher Colin Peluse. The club's record currently sits at 87-47 and the division win is the 1st in team history. Team owner The owner of the Raleigh Wheat Kings said it was "an extremely proud day to be at the head of the Wheat Kings." |
