Lloyd Wins SL2 Player of the Week Honors Monday, September 21st, 2020 23-year-old Chris Lloyd made a few Las Vegas headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Sub League 2 officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .417 average. Lloyd collected 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Thus far this season Lloyd is hitting .307 with 8 home runs, 36 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 50 hits in 163 at-bats and has played in 66 games. |
