July's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Nunez Saturday, August 1st, 2020 This month when the Mt. Orab manager wrote the name "Nunez" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in July Jhon J. Nunez took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 1.45 ERA in 6 starts, piling up 37.1 innings and 40 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .177 average. For his superb performance Nunez was named the Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. So far this season Nunez has a 5-6 record with a 2.60 ERA. |
