Woodmere Narrowly Wins Division 1 Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 The Woodmere Bat Bears feel they will be riding a wave of momentum after clinching the Division 1 title in the final game of the season. "We showed our true character to get this done so late in the season," said closer Tyler Keysor. "It's certainly a relief - better late than never." The club's 97-43 record is what has led to the 2nd division title in team history. Team manager Dave Miley had an ear-to-ear grin when the clinch became official. "That's a weight off my shoulders, that's for sure," he said. "It's time to bring the 2nd World Series championship to Woodmere." |
