Owls End Bishop's Streak Sunday, August 2nd, 2020 Lady Luck was not on the side of Ray Bishop or his teammates today at Copiague Grounds. Everything went the way of the Regina Owls, who not only came away with the 4-2 victory over Copiague, but also held Bishop hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Bishop said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." This year Bishop has hit 6 home runs and posted a .388 batting average. |
